Happy (early) Labor Day, y’all! I’m not sure about you, but we love Labor Day here at my house! You know my kiddos are everything to me so I love the extra time with them on an extended weekend. Plus, how fun that the US gave us a “thank you” for all of our hard work?!
Labor Day is the unofficial ending of summer to a lot of folks (myself included) and many are already decorating for Fall. If you need any help with fall decor ideas, please feel free to explore the site HERE.
So, with the kid’s home, that also means I’ve got to entertain them! What can we do if we don’t have a pool and they are totally over running in the sprinklers? Well, I put together the below round up of some of my favorite DIYs that would be perfect for the Labor Day weekend.
All I can say is WOW. This is going to be perfect for the kids + I am going to be making these for the 4th of July next year too! You can see all the details around this HERE.
The Decorated Cookie blog created this masterpiece, and we are SO going to be trying this for Labor Day weekend. It is easy and the kids will love this so much! You can see how to make this HERE.
Another super fun outdoor game, that could be great for the whole summer, is this giant set of dominos for the yard! How fun is this?! You can see the full tutorial HERE.
This adorable and patriotic tissue paper garland is perfect for the whole summer, but especially easy to make with the family at home (also very inexpensive). Find the full DIY and tutorial HERE on Landeelu’s blog!
This is such a fun snack and who doesn’t love rice crispy treats?! Also, you can cheat on this DIY (like me) by buying pre-made treats and adding all the fixings on with the kids. You can find the full tutorial HERE.
This patriotic lawn DIY is super easy and fun + how cute is this?! It is super easy to do, but you can see the full tutorial HERE.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this round-up of fun and easy Labor Day ideas! We’ll see you soon. xo!
